Michelle is a dynamic, multi-lingual professional with over a decade of non-profit development and communications experience. Prior to joining the Wallace Center, she studied in Paris and Cairo, where she earned an MA in Middle East and Islamic Studies, and worked in Washington, D.C., and Seattle before moving to the Gulf Coast. A South Louisiana native, Michelle recognizes the importance of organizational storytelling and community building. She is on the executive council for New Orleans Public Radio and a board member of New Harmony High School, whose curriculum is created through the lens of coastal restoration and preservation.
When she’s not working, Michelle enjoys hosting dinner parties, cycling and live music.
