Dana is the Project Manager for Winrock’s USDA Partnerships for Climate Smart Commodities award at the Wallace Center, bringing 10 years of experience working at the intersection of agriculture and soil and water conservation.
Prior to joining the Wallace Center, Dana worked to advance farmer-driven watershed conservation initiatives in Wisconsin as the Program Manager of the Producer-Led Watershed Protection Grant Program. She’s also worked in Alaska, Idaho, and Michigan in different areas of farming and conservation. Dana earned an MS in Plant and Soil Science from the University of Vermont and a BS in Soil and Land Management from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
Dana lives with her husband and children in southwest Wisconsin. In her free time, she enjoys working on projects on their farm, bowhunting, and hiking the bluffs and hills of the Driftless Area.
