For a number of years, Wallace Center hosted a biannual food systems conference that builds the capacity of food systems practitioners through nuts-and-bolts skill building sessions and site visits, networking and peer learning opportunities, and peer- and expert-led panels and keynote presentations.
The 2020 NGFN Conference in New Orleans, LA was a chance for food systems leaders to reflect on the gains and missteps of past decades of food systems work, examine models and practices that are working now, and co-create new strategies for food systems change, while amplifying the voices of frontline communities who have previously been excluded from the conversation.
