Overview for current Sustainable Food Indicators initiative.
The Wallace Center’s National Good Food Network is designed to meet the needs of this good food movement by enabling the development of regional “value chains” - new systems of market relationships, that include refined processing and distribution infrastructure, to move more good food from farm to table at the regional level, and enable regions to improve good food access in all communities throughout the nation.
The NGFN Food Hub Collaboration is a partnership between Wallace Center at Winrock International, USDA, National Good Food Network, and others. The Collaboration is working to ensure the success of existing and emerging food hubs in the US by building capacity through connection, outreach, research, technical assistance and partnerships.
The Wallace Center at Winrock International, in partnership with the Training & Development Corporation, is pleased to announce Community Food Enterprise: Local Success in a Global Marketplace, a project jointly funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
The National Farmers’ Market Network is an initiative for providing valuable, practical information to the many, mostly grassroots organizers of markets and to the vendors and communities with whom they work.
